Caged Moon The Caged Moon Series Book 1 eBook Rachel Deagan

Fantastic!! That is the only way to describe this book. I loved it so much I didn't want it to end.
I am a major fan of werewolf books and this one ticked all the right boxes. It had suspense, romance, action, and a whole lot more. I was on the edge of my seat while reading it.
The story follows Charlotte as she tries to understand what is happening to her. Ever since she was attacked by an animal when she was young, she has had the feeling of being followed. By wolves. She doesn't know whether it's post traumatic stress or if she really is being followed. Then she meets Liam. And her life is turned upside down.
This book had me hooked from the very beginning. There were so many twists and turns I didn't know what was going to happen next. The story line was amazing. It was really unique and the writing just flowed. I loved the characters, they were such a crazy group of people. I loved them all.
One thing that did annoy me though was the love story. For most of the book Charlotte keeps jumping back and forth between trusting and fearing Liam. Then all of a sudden she says she loves him. I don't get it. How can she say she loves him if she doesn't even know if she can trust him. Confusing but I got over it. Everything else in this book was amazing that I was able to overlook that little annoyance.
I don't know if this is the first of a series but I really, really, really hope it is! There were so many things left unresolved and questions left unanswered. I want more! Please let there be a second book!!

Anyone who loves a good werewolf book needs to get this one! Seriously!! :)

Caged Moon The Caged Moon Series Book 1 eBook Rachel Deagan Reviews

Man I just love me stories with wolves in it. I just love how they have that whole Alpha thing going on. I love a strong man who can shift and kick A$$! With that being said I would like to give a huge THANK YOU to Rachel for allowing me to read her book and review it. I am also hosting a blog host and character interview on my blog tomorrow so stop on by to read about Liam, Charlotte, Ty and Aaron. Here is the link [...]
Charlotte is moving to a new town because her father is a doctor and has gotten a new position. She is not happy about moving but she loves her father and will do anything for him. On the way to the new house her father decides to spend a night at a local camp sight because he loves camping and bird watching. Charlotte is really not feeling outdoorsy but she does not have the heart to tell her father because he is so excited to be there.

Once she gets there she is tired and wants nothing more than to lay down and go to sleep. She asks her father where the bathrooms are and on her way there her flash light dies and she panics. See Charlotte does not like the dark or the woods because she was attacked by an animal when she was little. While she is trying to find her way back to the camp she runs into a guy. When she meets him she is overtaken by his looks and his actions towards her that she stops and stares at him for some time until he speaks. They end up talking for a while outside and she realizes she does not want to go to bed anymore she wants to talk to this stranger.

Charlotte is not sure but she knows she feels something for this guy and she is not sure why. What is he? Where did he come from? Will she see him again? Will he like her? So many questions are going through her head that she can't think straight. She wants to see him again but she is not sure if she will. When she finally does see him again she realizes that there is definitely something different about him and his friends. Will she be able to uncover his secrets? Will she like what she finds? Will she like him after she finds out what he is?

Dying to find out what happens like I was then go out and by the book. BEST wolves read I have read in a long time!
I don't always get on too well with werewolf books. For a while I thought they might not be my thing but perhaps I've just been reading the wrong ones. Because I really enjoyed reading Caged Moon! I wasn't sure what to expect from it but from the very first page, I was impressed. I recommend setting aside a few hours if you're planning on reading this because I for one couldn't tear my eyes away! It was definitely addictive and very, very intriguing.

Our protagonist in this one is Charlotte and I really liked her from the start. She was just plain cool and I enjoyed getting to know her. I thought she was a really intelligent character who always thought things through logically which is awesome to see. What I loved was that she didn't keep it all to herself. When she was suspecting that weird things were going on, she told her friend and talked every detail over with her. It was really interesting that she didn't keep it all a secret and quite refreshing to see.

Liam is the love interest and I definitely liked him! I found myself smirking every time Charlotte was having a conversation with him. There was just something really sweet and amusing about him. He's a really nice guy, a little mysterious but not in an over the top way. He doesn't treat Charlotte like she's dumb and I liked that he was more forthcoming with information than I expected him to be. Charlotte and Liam's interactions were fun to watch.

The one thing I wasn't crazy about was the fast progression of their relationship. I felt like they had barely gotten to know each other when declarations of love were being thrown around! I would have liked it to go slower. Other than that, Caged Moon was a brilliant paranormal read. I enjoyed getting to know all about the wolves and I couldn't have predicted the way things went. It gets very intense towards the end of the book and I think the sequel will be wonderful!
